Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the foothealthcare.app service, including our website and practice management software platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. We recommend that you print or save a copy of these Terms for your records.

Description of Service

foothealthcare.app is a cloud-based practice management software platform designed for foot health practitioners, podiatrists, and small clinics. The Service includes features such as:

  • Client and appointment management
  • Clinical record keeping
  • Scheduling and calendar tools
  • SMS appointment reminders
  • Practice administration tools

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Account Registration and Eligibility

To use the Service, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You must be at least 18 years old and a qualified or trainee foot health professional (or operating a foot health practice) to use the Service. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Store or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes upon the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the Service to store patient data in a manner that does not comply with applicable data protection laws
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Share your account credentials with third parties

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable healthcare regulations, including data protection requirements for patient records.

Payment Terms

The Service is provided on a subscription basis at a cost of £10/month. Payment is due in advance at the beginning of each billing period.

  • All prices are in GBP (£) and are currently not subject to VAT
  • Payment is collected automatically via your chosen payment method
  • You are responsible for keeping your payment details up to date
  • If payment fails, we may suspend access to the Service until payment is received

We reserve the right to change our pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • You may request an export of your data before your account is closed
  • We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow you to reactivate, after which it will be deleted

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by foothealthcare.app and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to the Service
  • You grant us a limited licence to host and process your data solely to provide the Service
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our software or content

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, foothealthcare.app shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Notify you of material changes via email or through the Service
  • Provide at least 30 days' notice before material changes take effect

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
